Nice, brisk tea. Very nice tea from Nilgiri. Somewhat similar to Ceylon teas.

Not so much my cup of tea

This tea has a lovely floral scent before brewing. I like it better in the package than to drink! For me, when brewed it has an astringent, lemony quality that I don't love. I think if you like a bright citrusy tea you will be pleased and I would recommend it in that case. I will finish what I bought, but won't buy again.

I received the sample. I liked the fact that when left in the teapot it did not get bitter.

Freshly brewed it had a nice almost floral taste to it. My first time trying the Nilgiri Black Tea.
I would certainly order this tea again.

Good Nilgiri with prominent taste. It goes easier than half of Assam teas.

This is a classic black tea. Unique bold flavor that's not too heavy or smokey. If you like black teas and haven't tried Nilgiri, you're missing out, plain and simple.

I was initially disconcerted by the unusually small size of the leaves as I had related flavor with leaf size. But I was pleasantly surprised by this tea's flavor and obviously the co-relation of leaf size and flavor is wrong. Besides its possible that the small leaf size may not cause the same degree of drain pipe obstruction, but that is just a guess. Anyway I can recommend this tea for its flavor without reservation. In fact it has become my favorite tea. Why not 5 stars? Because There may be an even more flavorful tea out there.

This has been my favorite for months, only displaced when I discovered Imperial Golden Yunnan black tea. This is a smooth cuppa you will enjoy.

To The HILL we go

Had a different brand of Nilgiri Tiger Hill some years back and enjoyed it so I thought I'd give it a try again. This is a high quality tea, with a rich and distinctive flavor that doesn't overpower, but does offer a refreshing cup that's quite different from other black teas. This Tiger Hill is a winner - enjoy.
