Consistently Enjoyable and Not Fussy
December 3, 2012
I have been drinking Enjoying Tea's Superior West Lake Dragon Well for about two years. As with all green teas, some experimentation with water temperature, brew time, and amount of tea is needed. But it is much more forgiving than vegetal green teas from Japan with respect to water temperature and brewing time. I usually bring water to a boil, let it cool for about two minutes, then steep 3 tbs of this tea in a tall glass with about one cup of water for 2-3 minutes. It has natural sweetness and some floral tones, but i would not describe it as flowery. Enjoying Tea's much less expensive Dragon Well is also good, but this one is worth the money. I drink a variety of green teas, but order this one every time.
