The trivet I saw in the store is was as I expected and more. I love the concept of having something belonging to an old tradition. It is useful and pretty.

This trivet was purchased as a general trivet, not specifically for a teapot. It is beautiful, substantial and a great price. It is my second trivet from the collection. I also bought the one without the bamboo design in the same size and finish. They are great together.
