Japanese Koi Cast Iron Trivet

The trivet looks like a rustic antique reproduction. It complements my all-black cast iron teapot with raised goldfish motifs. The 27-ounce teapot fits it perfectly and does not hide the beautiful raised koi design at the trivet's edge.

It also looks great with the bronze cast iron koi motif tea cup and closely matching maple leaf saucer I bought here.

I'm giving this trivet 4 stars instead of 5 only because its matte finish is very dark, almost black, not the much lighter bronze tone shown in the catalog photo.
