This cup is simple and easy on the eyes, and I recommend using it when you want to emphasize relaxation and contemplation. This cup is beautiful in that (at least in the one I got) upon a closer look, it's not quite as perfectly shaped as it seems. It has a bit of a wabisabi aesthetic in that regard.
