Description

Gyokuro is the most precious and finest Japanese green tea. Gyokuro means "jade dew" in Japanese, which describes the tender jade green leaves. Before harvesting, this tea are shaded to allow the leaves to develop a higher chlorophyll level and less tannin. When brewed this tea produces a refreshing flowery aroma and mellow sweet taste. Comes in a decorative bag with 1.76oz of Gyokuro.

This tea contains high concentration of polyphenols that have powerful antioxidant properties. A growing body of scientific evidence suggests that polyphenols may help prevent cancers, lower the risk of heart disease, and strengthen our immune system.

I've been using this green tea for years but I never saw it at such a low price before. I will order it from your store now instead of my previous source. I believe the quality is the same but you are much less expensive.

The King of Green Tea

This is what i want when I think of a green tea. It makes a strong vegetable flavored brew that is slightly sweet and not bitter at all if brewed correctly. I suggest brewing around 150 degrees for about 1 minute and a half on the first brew only about a minute on the second brew. Makes a wonderful tea up to about 4 steeping.

i will definitely purchase this tea again, a lovely japanese green tea. comes packaged beautifully as well. sweet, grassy, i brewed at lower temperatures and for about a minute. makes several wonderful cups.
