Chinese Tea Sampler

I love this tea!

I was reading a book about Chinese teas, so as I read about each kind, I tried the tea from the sampler. Most of the teas mentioned in the book are in this sampler. The teas seem to be very fresh; the scent when I opened the tins was pleasing. The size of the samples provides plenty of tea that will last me for some time. I like some teas better than others- just my personal taste- so this is a good way to learn what I prefer without spending too much money on a tea I don't like as much. I very much like the pleasing packaging and the reusable tins. This was like a little gift to myself.

I wanted to try several Chinese teas and this was a great way to start.

The tins are too small for my teaspoons. I have no idea how I'm supposed to get the tea out (especially the jasmine dragon pearls) without breaking them apart. I didn't think I'd need to pick up a special spoon just for making tea.

That being said, I did manage to get the tea out okay and it was delicious. So far I've only tried the jasmine dragon pearls and the wuyi oolong. Both were amazing.

The jasmine dragon pearls have a delicate sweet scent without being overpowering and too floral. Sadly I can't talk about the taste because I was making tea to share with someone. They picked the jasmine dragon pearls even though they normally don't like floral teas. So I panicked and added some fruit flavored tea to the mix to make their experience sharing tea with me more enjoyable instead of letting it shine on its own.

The wuyi oolong is everything I expect from a wuyi oolong. It's lightly sweet, smells smoky and earthy, and it was smooth and satisfying.

The colors of all of the uncooked tea leaves are a lot more attractive than they appear on the website.

Everything smells great, looks great, and I appreciate that there are steeping instructions printed on the box.

I'm somewhat of a newbie when it comes to tea, but each tea is the best I've ever had. Really.

Great way to try some of the different tea.. they are all good.

I am very pleased with this tea sampler. I am fairly new to brewing loose tea and wanted to try a variety to see what I prefer. Loose tea is now my preference and I will never buy bagged teas again. All of the teas are very tasty and I have found a few that I prefer. I will definitely be ordering some of the varieties again. I highly recommend this tea!

I bought this sampler as a relatively inexperienced tea drinker looking for a way to explore different types of loose-leaf tea. The set includes 8 different teas that span the variety of Chinese teas. There's enough of each tea to enjoy it multiple times and figure out which ones you like best. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to become familiar with Chinese tea.

It will take me a long time to work my way through this sampler; so far, I've wanted to just keep drinking each of the three that I've opened! I can say with certainty that the Anxi Benshan Wulong, Dragon Well Green, and Chun Mee Green teas are excellent choices. Also, none of the teas thus far have had very similar flavors: this sampler really does give one the opportunity to try a true variety of Chinese teas.

Good tea and a nice sampler

I didn't know what to order and this selection worked out great.

I recieved this sampler last Christmas and enjoyed all of them. It is a nice blend of teas and each sample has enough tea for you to know if you would enjoy drinking it on a regular basis. I bought some for christmas gifts this year safe in the knowledge that my friends will enjoy them.

It is awesome that we can buy a sampler and experience many of the different kinds of CHINESE teas before actually purchasing great amounts of the one you like.

After trying green tea from the local Supermarket it piqued my interest in tea. I came across these sampler sets which enabled me to sample various teas. I found that I am an Oolong person and now I just buy Oolong, but the experience was worth the price.

The samples are plentiful to get a good feel for whether or not you like the tea. The tea is great with flavor and I plan on refilling the Dragon well tea.

I've just about tasted every tea in the sample so far and have to say I love them all. I already plan to place an order for the Dragon Well and the Benshan Oolong. Excellent for people who want to sample different teas without paying the price for a full order.
